Banque du Liban supports Lebanese digital industry through Arabnet Conference
In collaboration with Banque Du Liban who has been a key supporter of Arabnet Beirut since its inception, Arabnet will hold its sixth annual Beirut conference from March 17th to19th 2015 at the Hilton Beirut Habtour Grand Hotel.
Arabnet Beirut will bring together more than 80 speakers and experts from around the world to discuss the latest issues in the digital industry in 30 panels and interviews with 15 hands-on workshops. Some of the topics to be discussed include:Customer services through the web and social media, digital marketing through digital influencers, technology in banking and startup acquisitions.
Arabnet founder and CEO Mr Omar Christidis highlighted that “Lebanon is a key regional hub for digital business and entrepreneurship which is confirmed by the interest that major global companies have taken in investing and acquiring Lebanese web sites and apps. The recent acquisition of Shahiya.com by the Japanese company Cookpad for $13.5 million is just a small example. "
Participating at this years’ edition of Arabnet are 700 professionals from more than 20 countries from the region and beyond - in addition to 40 sponsors and exhibitors.
